Description

This class will prepare the new or senior law enforcement officer for a successful DWI arrest, reinforcing what an officer has learned during the academy and field training. This class will provide a more complete and accurate assessment needed for a successful DWI arrest. We will discuss information designed to improve the participant’s ability to recognize the vehicle in motion, parked motor vehicle, personal encounter, and introduction to SFST, impairment due to drugs and/or alcohol, report writing and DWI Case Law. The law enforcement officer will also be more familiar with the Cannabis impaired driver. There are no prerequisites for this class. This is not a SFST certification class.
