The Blue Envelope Program – Safety, Communication, and Relationships with our Disabled Communities

This webinar introduces San Diego’s version of the Blue Envelope Program (BEP) program and shares the development process which increased positive interactions and trust with the community. When SDSD explored adopting the program, it was realized the program could be expanded to include all disabilities and conditions. Through the recruitment and guidance of community partners, the program evolved beyond the traffic stop scenario to include pedestrian contacts.
